About the Staff

Scott DrivingThe staff includes some of the best educators and coaches in the North Shore and beyond. This adult staff allows students to receive top quality teaching and personal instruction. The staff includes:

Brian  Bettano was a standout at Methuen High School before playing college basketball at the University of Lowell.  Coach Bettano currently serves as the assistant varsity coach at Haverhill High School.

Sean Connolly is currently the head coach at St. John’s Prep High School in Danvers, MA. Coach Connolly played his high school career at Bishop Fenwick High School where he averaged an amazing 28.4 points per game as his team compiled a 77-10 record in games he played, including a 47 game Catholic Central League winning streak. 

Coach Connolly finished his high school career with 2,473 points and is considered one of the best high school players in the history of Massachusetts High School basketball. Coach Connolly went on to play collegiately at Providence College and Ohio State University. Coach Connolly earned Big East rookie team honors at Providence College during his freshman year. During his three seasons at Ohio State, he scored over 1,000 points as he lead the Buckeye’s to two NCAA appearances.

 

Vin Pastore is a former coach at Malden High School and Malden Catholic High School and former director and coach of the Massachusetts Wildcats, an elite summer Basketball program.

Heather Hover Seddelmeyer is a graduate of Masconomet Regional High School where she was a 3 time Cape Ann League All-Star.  Coach Seddelmeyer played collegiately at Ohio Wesleyan University where she lead her team in rebounding during her sophomore year as well as leading them to an NCAC Conference Championship.  Heather is in her 5th year as the Mass Rivals girls Program Director. 

Duane Sigsbury is the varsity coach at Manchester Essex High School and a Physical Education teacher at Cathedral High School.

Julie Tardif-Hazelton is a Keene State graduate (2003 BS/Special Elementary Ed; BA/Sociology). Coach Tardif was a three sport athlete at Timberlane Regional High School. She holds the Timberlane women’s career scoring record with 1,336 points. She earned a full basketball scholarship to Division 1 University of Hartford. She later went on to star for Keene State College where she won numerous basketball MVP awards and other honors. Ms. Tardif is the all time leader for blocked shots at KSC with 89. Coach Tardif is known for her intensity, knowledge of the game, and shooting touch.

Mike Trovato played his high school basketball career at Central Catholic High School and college basketball at Bentley College.  Coach Trovato currently teaches in the Lawrence Public Schools and is the Varsity Coach at Haverhill High School as well as the director of the Mass Rivals Basketball Club.
